HIGHER EDUCATION: THE WOMEN

As far as my experience and observation is concern, it is very common, in at least Pakistan, that the women who equip themselves with the higher education degrees (above 16 years of education) or some professional degree like Engineering/Medical, are often (rather mostly) got failed in running a successful family life in home. Those women are likely to become a successful carrier owner, and be a successful professional in the job field, but their families (especially husbands and kids) are much likely to face serious concerns and conflicts in home due to the absence or the superiority complex of their wife/mother.

In this aspect I have the following two questions in my mind. Please answer and provide feedback:

1. Should the women (who foresee themselves as housewives after getting married) not take the higher education????
(Please comment with reason)

2. Should the families of higher-educated-working-women (not simply the working women) compromise on their rights due on their wives/mothers? Considering the greater benefit those women are working on for the country or some other national/human cause.
(Please comment with reason)

NOTE: THIS POST DOES NOT TALK ABOUT THE WORKING WOMEN IN GENERAL, RATHER IT IS SPECIFICALLY TALKS ABOUT THE HIGHER EDUCATED WORKING WOMEN.

HYPOCRISY OF PAKISTANI MEDIA CHANNELS

Hypocrisy in our society is so common that even if one says that he/she is not hypocrite, its a total HYPOCRITICAL statement.

The majority of Pakistani masses are influenced with the religious figures on the top and secondly from the media. The media plays a very vital role in developing the mindsets of a common man. Therefore, as a significant institution of society, media must feel and furnish its responsibility in an appreciable manner. On the contrary, the situation is different in our country (Pakistan).

I am unable to understand how many faces of media are???????

From one face, the media portrays itself as the true representative of the country. Another face reflects that it is the media who is the most effective knowledge spreading tool. Similarly, media often highlights the religious  perspective of the country. It also a great source of instant information of events. Butttttttt......................., with all the above positive aspects and roles of media, can one say that he/she can enjoy the benefits of media along with the family?????? Sorrowfully, the answer is NO.

Most, rather all of the TV channels which claim to be the most popular channels of Pakistan, telecast material full of vulgarity, non-family-stuff, and other things like that, on a regular basis. Even one cannot enjoy and listen the NEWS without tension of being ashamed before the family. Why it is so????????/ Who is behind all the game?????? Can there be one who knows the true meaning of PAKISTAN (i.e., Islam), or someone else???

The hypocritical aspect in this regard is that the same channels also telecast programs on religion and other ethical preaching. Participants of these programs always condemns the TV channels who telecast the above mentioned stuff and even they highlight the prosecution process of those activities to be executed by God in the hereafter. The limit crosses when the news channel telecast the news that, "Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued order against TV Channels who are involved in telecasting the vulgar material during their transmission and in the commercials", even involving the same channel.

ITS VERY ALARMING that despite of the facts mentioned in the previous paragraph, our media channels are consistent in telecasting which they want (planned/planted/ordered/directed) to telecast. No matter the stuff is legal or not, no matter the stuff is ethical or not and no matter the stuff is against the Islamic Image of Pakistan or not........

Please give some feedback in this regard. No matter the feedback is productive or the critical, it will be highly appreciable.

PEOPLE of ISLAMIC Republic of Pakistan

Proud to be a Pakistani???  YESSS I am and everyone should be.

But the thing to worry about is that we are loosing the values and traits which are associated with our Islamic image day by day. People here, are very touchy about the religion, even those who don't know how to perform the basic religious prayers are so radical that they got hyper on hearing or watching something against Islam. On the contrary, majority of those people are so hypocrite that they, themselves get indulge in the non-religious/non-Islamic activities. I have many examples or topics to discuss in this regard but few of the those (examples) are below:

1.
In July 2012, hundreds and thousands of Muslims got killed in Myanmar (formerly known Burma) by the government there. This was one of the massive genocide of Muslims in recent times. Unfortunately, and surprisingly none of any effective voice raised in favour of those poor. Only small news were telecasted on some channels. The interesting and condemning thing is that, during one of these days an Indian media figure Rajesh Khanna died and our honoured media kept weeping for him for even one continuous week. Is that the religious extremism in our country??????? Are we serving our MUSLIM nation this way?????? Are we deserving to be called Muslim???????

2.
Yesterday (December 27, 2012), a Pakistani singer Shahid Nazir returned to Pakistan after being popular by releasing a song "One pound fish". I was just watching his return at airport on Geo and other popular channels. People got excited and emotional, they just picked Shaid Nazir on their shoulders and chanting, clapping and  so and so which we call a warm warm welcome. I also showed interest in that news what Waow ! something  great happened by Shahid Nazir. But Alas !!! during that news, some clippings of that particular video were also shown. And in the end I felt ashamed of being one of the nationals of such a humiliating nation. Those who know Shahid Nazir and also watched his video, can easily judge whether the citizens of a Muslim state should pay a warm welcome to such a guy or they should boycott the person (at least)....??????????

10 Questions for Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri

Dr. Tahir ul Qadir Returns Home

Very briefly, here I have some questions for Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri to reply:
  1. Where were you for the last many years when Pakistan was facing massive challenges?
  2. Most probably, you are now a Canadian Citizen, then do you think you are eligible to take part in the election for assembly member?
  3. WHO ARE YOU to give deadline to the government or whoever, regarding the reforms in the current administrative structure?
  4. Are you a judge or someone to declare the FAISLA (decision) regarding the actions of masses?
  5. You left politics earlier and you were of the view that the political system is useless, thereafter you limited yourself to religion, so what happened now? Has the political system of Pakistan changed or what?
  6. Regarding religion, I consider you a great scholar, then please explain your justification regarding the acceptance of elections and the power of vote of a common man? Are these legal in Islamic perspective?
  7. You are now willing to change/improve the current system, well ! that's great, however, couldn't it be better for you to live here in the past years and make that change while living here, (instead of living a leisure life in Canada)? Are you sincere with the people of Pakistan this way?
  8. You said to eliminate the factor of money from politics, OKKK, then what about the massive advertisement campaign you launched all over Pakistan and the electronic media, prior to your welcome ceremony at Lahore? Who funded that?
  9. You said that you are against any Army takeover, Good ! Then please educate us that how a great scholar can talk so foolishly while giving only 18 days deadline (up to 10th January) to the government for such tasks which need years to be accomplished?????????? Are you foreseeing some hidden hands/boots to  move??????
  10. You said that you are not aiming to introduce a system which is in contradiction to Constitution of Pakistan and even the World adopted general political rules. Its then, very interesting that you are, on the contrary, willing to call people for Jihad shortly !!!!!!! Please educate us that is there any provision in the Constitution of Pakistan and our Islamic Jurisprudence for a Non-State Person to call people for stand and start Jihad, without the consent and authority of the Government of time??????????????//
